I created this low-poly 3D model in Blender, fully rigged with a customizable and anatomically accurate eye system.
Control expressions intuitively using 5 main drivers:
▪︎ Look At – A sphere that determines where the eye focuses
▪︎ Root – Moves and rotates the entire book
▪︎ Master_Blink – Opens or closes both eyelids at once
▪︎ Lid Up & Down – Adjust each eyelid individually
▪︎ Pupil Control – Manually resize the pupil
All bones have constraints applied, limiting movement to only the necessary directions and ranges. This prevents accidental rotations, scaling, or artifacts while keeping the eye’s motion anatomically realistic.
When the eye looks toward the corners, two hidden drivers automatically apply subtle surface deformations to the eyelids—simulating natural eye anatomy.
Key Features:
・5 Main Controllers: Look At sphere, Root, Master Blink, Upper/Lower Lids, Pupil Size
・Anatomically Accurate: Natural eyelid follow system with micro-expressions
・Constraint-Protected: Bones only move in intended directions
・Dual Control Modes: Full automatic tracking + manual override
・Scene-Scale Ready: Works in close-ups and wide shots
・Optimized topology, clean mesh and edge flow.
・Low-poly count: 1,799 vertices, 3,390 triangles (99% quads)
・Subdivision Surface modifier included (set to 2x by default)
▪︎ Two Versions Available:
FREE: Manual eye control, Master Blink, individual lids
FULL: Automatic gaze tracking, pupil focus, micro-expressions
